The Definitive Word on Frank

Recently, a longtime friend, Dug Anderson, came back to Utah County for work. In fact, he and I are at the same company, on the marketing team. What's more, we work in the same buildings we worked in nearly 20 years ago. The other day we rode the trail we rode most frequently back in the day, Frank. Fatty (Elden) joined us. It was a grand reunion on multiple levels. Full circle sort of thing, I guess.

As I was reacquainting Dug and Fatty with the tremendously improved Timpanogos Foothill trail system, we discovered that many of the UC riders refer to a segment of the trail as Frank but really have no idea why the trail is named Frank. Dug imparted his knowledge today in his post. He not only offers Frank's origin, he takes you on our ride. Strap up and keep your arms and legs in at all times.

Nice to finally have the cleared up. The MTB is functional again, we should hit up Rock Canyon sometime this week.

Right before you said it in your own post, I was thinking, "Now, that's full circle if I've ever heard of it before." Pretty neat-o.
