My buddies and I have an ongoing discussion about our favorite mountain bike rides. For the most part we agree—our Top 5 lists have a lot of overlap. But because we are geographically dispersed there is some variation. Bobby, for example, just added a local (Seattle) ride to his Top 5 list. The only reason I have to think that that ride is list-worthy is because it has a cool name: Volker's Loop/Duthie. Well, that plus I trust Bobby most of the time.
Here in Utah County we have an epic mountain bike ride that should be on everyone’s local Top 5 list. It’s the Rock Canyon to Squaw Peak loop. Maybe some day when I’m not so lazy I’ll describe why this ride is epic. Until then, here are some pictures and stats.
